The Protocols & Assessment Course is an intensive class involving extensive hands-on work. The practical sessions of this course include special techniques for the joints, the head (including intra-oral) and abdomen. They introduce the student to therapeutic applications. You will use these movements and the next level of movements in routines effective in treating all parts of the body. A thorough review and update of MLD® theory will be presented. A review of all techniques / movements of MLD and sequences is given. In the theory sessions, advanced theory and current research is discussed as well as a review of Basic theory. An oral, written and practical exam is given. Those who complete the Therapy I are qualified to attend the Therapy II/III course, the third and fourth of the courses for full certification as a Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist. (Description) This is a Gay Lee Gulbrandson, CLT-LANA, course. (Practical 32 hrs., Theory 8 hrs.) Gay Lee is an engaging and dedicated teacher who supports the learning objectives with energy and dedication to the subject and her students. Your class will be a positive learning experience you will never forget, and new skills will open up a low-stress manual specialty for grateful survivors.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
To receive a refund, credit or transfer (minus any required non-refundable deposit), cancellations must be made at least thirty (30) days prior to the first day of class. No refunds, credits or transfers will be given for any reason after that point. To cancel your registration, please call the Front Desk at (202) 686-7046. If there is no one to take your call, please leave a detailed message. In the event a workshop is cancelled by PMTI, a full refund of any registration fees will be provided to the Registrant or if desired, a transfer of the credit towards another workshop. We do our best to process refunds as quickly as possible; please allow up to 30 days for refunds to be processed.
Early Bird Registration Eligibility DISCOUNT
For most of our workshops, there are two payment options: a discounted early bird price and a full non-discounted rate.
To receive the discounted early bird rate, the full discounted payment is required before or on the day of the early registration deadline. If the full early bird price is not paid before or on the early registration deadline, you will then be responsible for the full price of the workshop minus the deposit amount.

Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage Instructor
Gay Lee Gulbrandson, a resident of Berkeley, CA, BA (Biology) Beloit College, WI. She is a certified MLD therapist by the Dr Vodder School International (DVSI, 1996), and a certified Basic Course and Advanced Course former instructor. Gay Lee has a thriving private practice in MLD and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT). Her qualifications and accreditations include certified massage therapist (CMT-1979), AMTA member (1988-), orthopedic massage certificate (Hendrickson School 1991), NCTMB/BCTMB certified (1995-), NLN sponsoring member (1996-), CLT-LANA certified (2002-), CAMTC Registered (2011-). Gay Lee has 2 grown sons and a daughter, and is happily married. She is an innovative, dynamic and respected teacher who travels frequently to teach MLD throughout the USA. |
